art is freedom
A little brief background on some work here. I am currently doing a Bachelor of Craft Design at Christchurch Polytech, in New Zealand. I am currently in my 2nd year of 3 years.   Most of my work this year is based around my theme. To put it simple my theme is Emotions of Death (or anything related).   It originally was just emotions but has had to be simplified.   The reason for me chosing Death is because I love peoples faces, and then emotions, which the face transfers peoples feelings through.  At the moment I am focusing on Sadness as this interests me at this point the most.   So that is where Death comes in, because with death comes sadness, and sadness being an emotion.

All the computer work i.e scanning, Photoshop, Freehand etc, is done on Macs.  Then e-mailed home and converted to the PC format.

This is a 3D model that I did last year in a programme called Ray Dream. I am sorry but this is the only scene that I was allowed to do. I would have loved to have given Flyeeeee movement but I simply didn't have time.
This is a drawing that I did.   I scanned it onto the
Mac then I added colour to it in Photoshop.
Well this is a newcomer to this slowly growing gallery of my work. This is a composition (once again done in Photoshop) for silk screen. (recognise the face? :P)
Please keep visiting because this is always going to be changing.

Please, please, please (I can't beg you enough).   If you ever find anything that you think is even remotely related to my theme please take the time to contact me.   I would be so greatful to any information that is offered. Other than my e-mail address below, I can also be found on ICQ at "10467408".   If you feel like it send me a message and mention that you found me through this page.   I would be very interested in your comments on anything

Thanx Glen Heslin (aka Hezie)

P.S. E-mail is preferred, (don't like to many contacts on ICQ :P)
